Dear Ms. Rios,

I just wanted to share my appreciation for all the outstanding service and attention to detail provided by Gwen Walton, our Event Manager for the 2010 Hardy Plant Study Weekend that was held June 18 - 21. From start to finish, including during the time she was out on maternity leave, Gwen was always in touch, responded quickly, and helped troubleshoot any problem we had or answer any of our questions.

Gwen and the support team of Bob Taylor, Lilia and Oscar all provided a very high level of service. We were most likely and unusual challenge - a plant sale in the parking garage? Phytosanitary agriculture inspections? - but at all times we felt like our needs were listened to and Gwen made every effort to accommodate us.

I am especially happy that at the last minute Gwen realized that the Sky View Ballroom would be a nicer location for our Solstice Celebration event on Saturday evening. We made a last minute change in the location, and the room provided the perfect ambience for our inspirational speaker. Everyone raved about the setting. It was very inspired on Gwen's part to come up with this change and I am glad she did. And your catering staff worked wonders and were very pleasant to work with.

All of the information about the 2010 Hardy Plant Study Weekend goes into a very large binder, to be used by the next committee that will plan the 2014 conference. Yes, our nonprofit organization only hosts this conference once every four years(it rotates between us, Portland, Eugene and Vancouver BC) and it is all managed by volunteers. I will be recommending highly that the conference return to the Bellevue Hilton. I received many, many rave reviews from our attendees that everything was just perfect.
