New Year’s Eve in Seattle
For New Year’s Eve in Seattle, the city will be hopping all night long. Some of the best events, however, feature fireworks views, free bubbly, and lots of dancing.
New Year’s Eve Ideas
NYE at the Space Needle
It will be a party in the sky at the Space Needle on New Year’s Eve. The Observation Deck Party will feature dancing with a live DJ, casino-style gaming, and a champagne toast to ring in the New Year.
Meanwhile, at Soiree in the Sky, you’ll feast on 10 courses with piano accompaniment, and sip a sparkling glass of bubbly as the clock chimes 12.
Celebration Lane is a nightly holiday performance on the streets and sidewalks near The Bellevue Collection. Song and dance, drummers, festive characters, brilliant lights, and sparkling cheer will fill the air at 7 p.m. starting December 26.
New Year’s Eve Classical Soul of Motown
Classic soul will be performed by the Seattle Symphony at this event with plenty of groove. Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and Marvin Gaye are some of the honored artists. After the show, stay for a party with champagne and dancing until midnight.
One of the family-friendly New Year’s Eve ideas includes NYE at Sky Observatory, set against the backdrop of 360-degree views of Seattle. They’ll stay open until 1 a.m. and will offer light fare and drinks for the occasion. Don’t miss the view of Seattle fireworks.
Pacific Science Center returns with their NYE party, where champagne and dancing mix with exploration. There will be live science demos, plus the planetarium, Laser Dome, and exhibits will stay open. Toast to 2017 under the courtyard arches, and enjoy a fantastic view of the Space Needle fireworks.
